Patek Philippe has added a new white gold Reference 5226 to its Calatrava collection, which exemplifies the brand's commitment to excellence in all aspects of watchmaking. The classic round shape of the Calatrava models, which have been renowned since 1932, has been updated with a Clous de Paris hobnail pattern on the sides. The guilloched motif continues around the entire caseband, thanks to a unique case construction in which the lugs are integrated into the case back.

The new model is powered by self-winding Caliber 26-330 S C, which drives the hours, minutes, central seconds, aperture-type date, and stop-seconds mechanism. The reference comes with two interchangeable straps: one in beige calfskin with a nubuck finish, and the other in black calfskin with an embossed fabric pattern and beige topstitching.
